this is an excellent description and explanation of the cramp release technique.
Another cause of muscle cramps can be overworking a muscle - for instance, working it too hard and for too long.. and one way to avoid this is to train methodically and more effectively

A lot of my clients suffer from leg cramps while stretching, during a work-out, or after their work-out while resting.
After reading your post I was telling one of my clients about your magnet method.
When I saw her the time afterwards she said she had put a magnet over the cramping area while doing EFT and the result was quick cramp relief - much quicker than she had experienced with EFT alone.
Of course, just having success like this with one person doesn't mean a lot statistically speaking, but it has encouraged me to tell other clients about it.
I'll keep you posted.
Thanks for the information in the first place

I use an electric massager that I got for my wife's to use on her stiff neck. Before I go to bed I use the massager on both legs. On the calf’s and the muscle down the outside of both legs between the knee and the foot and the arch of both feet. Then I take two Aspirin and a couple of big swigs of Tonic water with quinine. (It contains a small amount of quinine.) After months and months of night time leg cramps I found this and it works every night. When I need to go to the bathroom during the night I take another small swig of the Tonic water. I Sleep like a baby with NO leg cramps. Check with your doctor if you have heart problems as large amounts of quinine can cause your heart to stop. Good luck.

I like the example you use to show how ligaments support the joints.
It gets the point acrtoss very effectively.

I suffered from flat feet when I emigrated to Spain and know first hand how debilitating it can be, even limiting enjoyment of being on the beach because I couldn't use my arch supports.

By using exercises to strengthen the arches of my feet, they are a lot better now... and so I encourage anyone with painful feet to get them tended to as soon as possible.

There is always light at the end of the tunnel for those willing to put in the effort

What a brilliant post. You should do a series! :)I did a sort of blogging for dummies over on one of the craft forums and I thought it was too simple for them, but the amount of emails I got asking questions just like what you addressed was unbelievable. As young people today we have grown up with computers, but it's easy to forget that even people
just a few years older have not! Really good post! :)

Hi there, great information on how to treat restless legs. I do have this kind condition lately. And very informative for me. Being healthy is just the best factor on how to minimized or lessen the leg conditions. Thanks for the great info!

I agree wholeheartedly with what you say in this article.

EFT and meditation can both be used to control and lessen pain. These techniques can also be used to prevent pain coming on.

The only disadvantage in using the methods is that they need to be learned and practiced in order to make them work.
But once that initial training period has been completed the methods work wonderfully well.

This is an interesting article.
I used to suffer from flat feet (fallen arches) for years. I even had to wear arch supports to give my fee respite during my long working days and being on my feet all day long (my father had flat feet too!)

However, after moving to live in Spain 11 years ago, and living a more active lifestyle over here, the arches of my feet now no longer cause any problem.

It was as if the muscle tone of my feet and legs were actually rejuvenated by the way they were being used.
